Guest speaker: Tami Hendriksz, D.O., FACOP, FAAP, TUC Professor & Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Medical Director of the Vallejo Unified School Based Clinics.
Dr. Hendriksz and the Project HAPPY Student Doctor Team Leaders will present a variety of short, engaging nutrition lessons that families can use to help ensure that their children are eating healthfully. These lessons will be followed by a live cooking demonstration of a healthy family-friendly meal. Finally, the Project HAPPY Team will participate in a Question & Answer session with the audience to help answer questions related to children's nutrition and healthy eating.
