FAIRFIELD — SolanoMeansBusiness.com, launched by the Solano Economic Development Corporation, reflects an aggressive new strategy to highlight the competitive advantages of a business venue where costs are lower within the nine-county region that comprises the San Francisco Bay Area, the development corporation said.
The website provides:
· Individual profiles for each of the seven cities within Solano County.
· Featured properties and buildings available (priced at 40 percent less than the Bay Area).
· Business resources available to those seeking a new location.
· Key industries and a comprehensive data center.
The website is part of the Solano Means Business campaign to grow the economy by creating new jobs and infusing Solano County with new investment, the development corporation said.
“Our goal with this website is to provide users a vehicle to see Solano County as an outstanding location for their business,” Sandy Person, president and CEO of the Solano Economic Development Corp., said in a press release. “With a commitment of collaboration and a shared purpose, our cities know that job creation benefits all of our communities. SolanoMeansBusiness.com is a step in moving our ‘business first’ mission forward.”
Visitors to the existing website, SolanoEDC.org, will be directed to the new site. All of the agency’s information is included and visitors can use the navigation bar atop the new website to see all the features they are used to finding there.
