PG&E’s Solano Energy Watch program, administered by Solano Economic Development Corporation, will sunset in June 2020 after six years of operation

June 24 2020

Fairfield, Calif. June 24, 2020 — As of June 30, 2020 Solano Economic Development Corporation’s energy efficiency program, Solano Energy Watch, will come to an end. Solano Energy Watch has been a collaboration between Solano Economic Development Corporation and Pacific Gas and Electric Company.

Formed in 2014 to help address the challenge of reaching local governments and small to medium sized businesses with energy efficiency information, rebates, financing and energy saving opportunities, the program has put millions of dollars in rebates and recurring energy savings back into the community. Since its inception, Solano Energy Watch has provided an estimated $2,285,200 in rebates, outreached to over 1,100 businesses, and saved the business owners of Solano County the equivalent of removing 2,307 vehicles from the road for one year while putting an estimated $3,321,467 back into the business community through recurring energy savings.
